ABOUT THE INVISIBLE PROJECT >>
In 2009, after attending a support group facilitated by US Pain Foundation, photographer and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome survivor, Syd London, had an idea for a photo documentary that she entitled, INvisible Project. It was her vision to bring public visibility to the experiences and strengths of those living with pain. Recognizing the importance of a project that compared the fragility of the physical body with the resilience of the spirit that holds onto hope, US Pain supported Syd's photo documentary dream and was eager to turn it into reality. Thus, the INvisible Project was born.

The INvisible Project highlights the day-to-day experiences of pain survivors through photographs. Following each person for one day, Our photographers will capture the struggles and triumphs of these brave pain survivors. As the INvisible allows the outside world a glimpse of what it is like to live with pain while persistently pursuing to live a meaningful life, the goal of this project is to create pain awareness, empower survivors and generate change.

THE MONEY WILL BE DISTRIBUTED ACCORDINGLY:
- 70% of the proceeds will go toward expanding the programs and support groups of US Pain.

- 30% of the proceeds will go toward pain research. As we are still looking at viable studies, the INvisible Project will update this section as soon as we determine the research we will be supporting this year.
